The animal biosciences program focuses on genetics, genomics, epidemiology and diagnostics of important livestock species (cattle, pigs, camel, sheep, and goats) and diseases (Trypanosomiasis, East Coast Fever, African swine fever, Peste de Petits Ruminant and Zoonosis). Most of the research is done in Africa and has the potential to impact the rest of the world with the aim of improving food and nutritional security.

Here you will find a presentation from the program leader Steve Kemp, and two scientific presentations by Karen Marshall and Eric Fevre.
