Although aflatoxins has been extensively studied for decades, there are still fundamental knowledge gaps in the effects of the toxins on human and animal health, especially in interaction with other mycotoxins. In order to evaluate this, we need to team up with medical institutes and perform randomized clinical trials, with impact measurements, and more toxicological studies are warranted.
