  Sirak Bahta is a senior agricultural Economist at International Livestock research Institute (ILRI). He holds a Ph.D. (Agricultural Economics) from the University of Giessen, Germany. Prior to joining ILRI, he was working as a researcher at Thunen Institute, Federal agricultural research institute in Braunschweig, Germany.
