  Thelma Namonje-Kapembwa, is a research associate with Indaba Agricultural Policy Research Institute. She holds a BSc and MSc in Agricultural Economics from the University of Zambia and Michigan State University respectively. Her past research studies have focused on agriculture marketing and pricing of food staples as well as gender relations in agriculture development. She is currently focusing on livestock market development for smallholder farmers in Zambia.
