  Mtimet is senior agricultural economist in the Policy, Trade and Value Chains program at the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI). He has over 10 years of experience in topics related to consumer behavior, food demand and agri-food marketing. In the last 5 years, he has been involved in research for development studies of livestock and commodity based value chain analysis in different countries (Tunisia, Kenya, Swaziland, Pakistan, Somaliland, Uganda, Nicaragua, etc.).
